Man recalls disturbing two sleeping creatures lying on a road near Redwater

The witness was riding as a passenger while the mother drove to work in the early morning. They came upon two large hairy animals lying on the highway and honked; one rose onto two legs and ran into the woods, while the other first ran on all fours down the road before standing onto two legs and also leaving the road to the west. The witness heard heavy breathing, tried to get out of the moving van to follow but was stopped, and a return to the spot later that day found no trace.
