Late night road crossing sighting near Potlatch on Hwy 95 spooks woman
Late at night in February 2011 the witness was driving on Highway 95 between Potlatch and Tensed when a very large dark bipedal form crossed the road in front of the car. The witness stopped in the empty highway but the figure vanished from the lit pasture and ditch without being seen again. The witness fled home in dread and later interpreted the figure as possibly Sasquatch-related.
Husband and wife see large upright figure leap from road around midnight on Freezeout Saddle near Clarkia
The witness and his wife were sleeping in their truck on a mountain ridgeline when they felt strongly uneasy and decided to drive down. A short distance downhill they saw a large brown furry figure in the trail briefly before it left the trail into the trees, bending a small fir. The witness searched with a flashlight but saw and heard nothing further and felt the animal might be hiding nearby, so they left the area.
Man sees bi-pedal creature while talking with friends
The witness and three companions were socializing at a gravel turnout late at night. The witness noticed a tall, solid-black, man-like outline about 15 yards away behind a boulder barrier. After about five seconds, the figure turned and walked on two legs down a ledge and into the tree line. Two companions also reported seeing it, while the third companion did not see it before it disappeared.
Young deerhunters see moving biped shape and later hear vocalizations
At dusk while setting up a shelter near camp, the witness and a cousin felt watched and saw a very large bipedal silhouette about ten feet away. They reached for their rifles but the figure disappeared within moments. They first suspected a prank by an older relative, but he was at the campfire, and no tracks were found the next morning because the ground was nearly frozen.
