The figure kept its distance while vocal exchanges continued, then left when the witness looked away at a fishing bell.

The witness was turkey hunting from the base of a tree on a ridge when a tall, dark reddish-brown bipedal figure was seen about 75 yards away for a few seconds before it stepped behind a tree. About 15 minutes later, while still in the same spot, an object struck a tree about 30 yards to the left and fell to the ground sounding like a rock. The witness also noticed a musky odor and reported no further activity that morning.

After a loud bang on a nearby wooden outhouse, a witness saw a tall dark hairy figure run into the woods. While they watched, a rock was thrown onto the carport by something else nearby, and when the husband started toward the figure it vanished in a sudden flash of movement.

He scanned the trees with a gun-mounted light and saw a tall upright creature behind a large oak that growled and screamed, prompting him to fire at the tree. The creature fled bipedally across a meadow toward a valley. Afterwards the witness found hair and blood on the tree where the creature had stood.

The witness and a companion were harvesting ginseng when they heard repeated unusual sounds including a low growl and a loud siren-like tone. Over several minutes they heard heavy fast footsteps and watched smaller trees shake violently while catching partial glimpses of a large bipedal creature that kept trees between itself and them. Several trees snapped and fell in the same direction, and rocks were later seen rolling down a nearby point. The pair inspected freshly broken trees before leaving the area the way they came.

He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. The witness became stranded alone when a car sank in soft sand on a remote forest road. While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

A saltwater hauler working after midnight at an oil-field tank site reported seeing glowing red eyes above a 9-10 foot fence during an unusually quiet period with a skunk-like odor and a low growl. The figure moved out of view and then threw about five tennis-ball-sized rocks toward the storage tanks, with two striking the nearest tank. The witness felt intimidated and left the site, returning the following night to look for the rocks.

After finishing dinner while camping, the witness and a companion were sitting by the fire when their dogs ran into the woods and returned frightened. The witness illuminated a large dark figure leaning from behind a tree about 30 feet away. A large rock was then thrown from the woods over the fire between the two people, the witness fired two shots into the air, and the figure was heard moving, breaking a tree, splashing across the creek, and ascending the opposite hillside. The pair left most gear behind, drove home, and returned the next morning to recover equipment and examine the broken tree.

The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

The witness was hiking on a logging road after riding a bike when they heard a branch snap, brush crashing, and a loud strike like wood on wood. A rock was then thrown from bushes, and the witness saw a hand and a muscular, dark brown, approximately 6-foot figure facing away with a V-shaped tuft of hair on top. The witness shouted at the figure, which remained still facing away, then left the area the way they came.

Small rocks began striking the vehicle, and he saw a tall dark hair-covered figure about 70-90 feet away rise from a low position to standing. He watched it briefly as it stood bipedally and then stepped backward into dense woods, after which he left quickly feeling fear and nausea.

The witness was driving on a gravel mountain road in the early morning when he saw a small dark animal sitting in the road. A tall brown-haired female came from the woods, picked up the juvenile and carried it back into the trees. After the witness got out of his car a rock struck the car and a much larger dark individual appeared behind the car, vocalized loudly, then crossed the road into the woods. The witness drove a short distance ahead, stopped, heard movement in the woods and had more small rocks thrown toward him before leaving.

The witness was camping overnight in the front yard with several children when rocks rolled into camp and loud howls were heard. Around 3 a.m. something heavy approached on two feet with a strong animal odor, bumped the witness's tent, then lifted and shook a child's occupied tent before running back into the woods.
