A very large upright figure stepped onto the road and approached them, becoming visible in the truck's cargo light and moonlight. Frightened by its size and continued approach, they scrambled into the truck, reversed toward it, and fled at high speed.

The figure was described as very large, muscular and brown-haired with long arms, moving with a smooth gliding jog. After stopping to look for tracks without success, they reported the sighting to patrons at a nearby tavern who did not believe them.

The witness, a seasonal parks worker, arrived alone at Amco park early in the morning to clean. While driving out on the park access road, the witness saw a large hairy upright figure standing beside the road.
