A bipedal figure about 100 feet away stumbled into the roadway, paused briefly, then ran at high speed into an overgrown field. After turning back from a dead end, the witness stopped to look at a dead snake, then looked up and saw an upright, hair-covered creature leap across the full width of the road. The companions were facing the opposite direction and did not see it, suggesting a cow or deer, but the witness remained convinced it was bipedal and erect.
