Daylight sighting by two witnesses driving on State Route 26 outside Grafton Notch State Park
The witness and her husband were driving out of the park in the early afternoon when the car ahead braked hard. They watched a tall brown bipedal figure run very quickly across the road while leaning forward with its arms held behind it. They stopped at the crossing point but found only woods on both sides with no people, parking areas, or sign of the figure.
Two witnesses see a sasquatch crossing forest road near Wilsons Mills in daylight
The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck with a companion driver and two children on a forest road in daylight. Both adults reportedly saw a tall, skinny, brown-haired biped cross the dirt road in a few long strides without reacting to the vehicle. The truck slowed near where it entered the woods, but nothing was visible and no tracks were found. Heavy rain that night prevented a follow-up search the next day.
Sighting by a motorist
The witness was driving on Route 95 through forested wilderness in early evening daylight. A large, dark, hairy creature crossed the southbound lanes from the treed median to the woods, moving swiftly, smoothly and fully erect. The witness stopped the car and looked into the woods where it went but saw no further trace. Three companions in the car were dozing and did not see it.
