Late at night while driving home over a river bridge with the convertible top down, the witness saw a large brown-haired being bent over in the lane apparently picking something up. As she slowed and moved to the other lane to pass, the being froze motionless and she was hit by an overpowering foul odor. She then accelerated home to tell her husband. The encounter happened around midnight about a quarter mile from her home.

The witness was walking with a dog on a dirt road in the early evening when the dog became agitated and aggressive. The witness heard grunting and movement in nearby woods, then saw a large hair-covered biped rise from behind a fallen tree and retreat into the woods. The dog chased the creature while the witness ran home, and the dog returned later unharmed. A strong road-kill-like odor was noted around the time of the sighting.

The witness was hunting hogs from a stand when he smelled a strong musky odor and climbed a ridge to investigate. Objects including a heavy rock were thrown toward him, with one landing at his feet. The witness and a relative were target shooting near a lake at sunset and walked to look for deer sign. The relative reported seeing a tall hairy figure by the car while whistles were heard. As they returned to the car in the dark they encountered a strong foul odor, heard heavy running footsteps ending with a thud near a gully, and heard a grating voice-like sound before driving away.

The creature looked at her, stepped over a tall fence while the fawn ran underneath, and did not catch the fawn. She was left in shock and unable to speak, and later drew the figure for her father.

On August 1, 1990, a woman at a mobile home near Eldon, Oklahoma reported hearing noises and smelling a bad odor before seeing a very tall, heavy creature. A deputy later found large impressions at the scene. Two days later, two other residents reported a similar upright animal at a trash pile nearby.

The witnesses reported a very strong unpleasant odor during the encounter.

Late at night three girls were lying on a bed by an open screened window talking quietly. After hearing footsteps and bushes rustling, a tall hair-covered creature placed its face at the window inches from the witness and stared for several seconds. The witness screamed and the group fled to another room, after which police searched but found nothing. The witness later said the creature matched descriptions of bigfoot she heard.
