Something flushed from thick brush ran diagonally toward the witness on the trail, pounding loudly and wailing like a woman screaming, and was seen partially as a fast, upright furry figure about four and a half feet tall. The witness initially assumed a bear cub but later doubted that because it ran upright for about 150 feet and the vocalization resembled sounds associated with Bigfoot reports.

They heard crashing in aspens across a ravine and saw a tall, long-haired figure standing on two legs about 300 feet away watching them for several minutes. After watching it rock back and forth, the group ran back down the hill. The witness maintains decades later that it was not a bear.

In summer 1966, the witness and her older sister were talking in a parked car near a river in Albion in the evening while the rest of the family was on a nearby boat. Across the river they watched two large, hairy, bipedal animals chase a flock of about 50 sheep around a fenced pasture for 20-30 minutes. After dark they hid in the locked car overnight and reported the event to their parents in the morning, later learning several sheep had been killed with bellies and internal organs eaten.

One tethered horse was so frightened it jumped over another horse. The witness concluded the figure could not have been a bear because of the sound it made and the way it ran.

The witness walked alone down a wooded path to a spring on a relative's farm. Near the spring the witness watched a hair-covered bipedal creature squatting and drinking for one to two minutes. A vocal sound from behind startled the first creature to standing and revealed a second taller creature close behind the witness. The witness ran away through the woods to the path and was not followed.
