The witness was driving a truck early in the morning when the headlights illuminated a tall, furry figure near the edge of the highway. The figure was facing across the road as if preparing to cross. The witness described it as about 8 feet tall with large yellow-orange glowing eyes.
Home owner gets a good look at his frequent visitor one night near Jonesboro
Late at night the witness went outside to check on a barking dog and shone a headlamp over an orchard fence. About 20 yards away an upright figure stared at the witness and the dog before leaving into the surrounding woods. The witness noted reddish-brown fur, a flat bare face and orange-looking eyes, with follow-up details adding height and muscular build.

After leaving and returning with vehicle lights, the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure with yellow eyes standing in trees about 20 yards away. The witness and her father were walking back to the trailhead parking area at night when the father noticed eyeshine in the trees to the side of the trail about 30-40 feet away. With headlamps on, they both observed shining eyes and the outline of a rounded head that turned to look at them before they turned their lights off. The figure then walked away downhill with heavy deliberate bipedal steps, paused, and remained nearby while the witness spoke softly before they left quietly. After returning home they photographed smudge marks on their vehicle that had not been noticed earlier.
