The witness moved away from the campfire for a clearer view in bright moonlight and observed a tall dark figure walking along the treeline toward a ravine. The figure left the area quickly and was not seen or heard again.

A deputy sheriff driving north on U.S. 95 well after dark en route to an accident scene saw a large hairy biped cross the road in front of his car. The animal came up one embankment, crossed in a few seconds, went up the steep opposite bank and disappeared into brush. The deputy described dark fur, upright walking, broad build, and eyes reflecting headlights.

It crossed the highway from east to west behind a truck ahead, moving very quickly without looking toward the witness, and continued into spruce forest. The witness continued to the next junction and called home to report what was seen.

The witness was driving north on a paved highway in the early evening when a figure rose from the dry grass in the roadside ditch. The figure crossed the road about 100 yards ahead without looking to either side, moving quickly with long steps, then entered brush and disappeared. On August 1, 1990, a woman at a mobile home near Eldon, Oklahoma reported hearing noises and smelling a bad odor before seeing a very tall, heavy creature. A deputy later found large impressions at the scene. Two days later, two other residents reported a similar upright animal at a trash pile nearby.

After a while they watched a very tall, broad-shouldered, hair-covered biped walk out into a grassy area on the far side of the lake. The creature walked slightly stooped, with long hair waving as it moved, and then disappeared from view.

The witness and a companion were driving at night on a lightly traveled road between the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff when they saw a tall hair-covered biped walking on the shoulder. They stopped about 50 yards away and watched it turn to face the headlights, pause and look curious, then take a step toward the car. After the companion screamed it strode into the forest in a few strides, and the pair drove widely around the spot and left the area.

The witness was exploring up a small feeder creek away from a campsite when a very strong foul smell was noticed and movement was heard ahead in the brush. A tall, very muscular, reddish-brown entity with huge shoulders and no apparent neck was seen walking about 50 feet away. The witness retreated toward camp, perceived the smell as moving with them and believed the animal kept pace and followed to the campsite, then left the mountain without packing up the tent.

The witness was walking alone on a small gravel road toward fishing holes near two rivers at sunset. A reddish-brown creature came fast through the woods to the right, heading toward the witness, then turned toward the river before reaching the road. The witness saw it from the side from the shoulders down at about 25 to 30 feet and estimated it was at least seven feet tall. After a moment of shock, the witness headed back home.

The witness was traveling by vehicle on a highway in daylight when she saw a large dark furry bipedal figure emerge from woods on one side. The figure stepped over a roadside fence, crossed four lanes quickly with a smooth gliding run, then stepped over a fence on the far side and disappeared into a pine thicket. A companion traveling with her did not see it.
Night time sighting by two witnesses four miles south of Livermore
The witness and a companion parked at night with a larger group to visit abandoned ruins. While getting out of the cars, both watched a tall furry brown bipedal creature cross a hillside about 40 feet away in flashlight light, then climb uphill out of sight. They initially withheld the sighting from the rest of the group and the witness later looked for tracks without success.

The witness rode as a passenger in a car with four companions on a dark two-lane highway and encountered an animal standing on the road. The driver stopped within a few feet and the occupants watched it move quadrupedally to the road edge, sit, and hesitate as if to flee. They then drove slowly past it within a couple feet, after which it was gone when looked for behind them.

The creature roared again when shot at and pushed over a green cottonwood before the group left.
