The witness's relative was working alone on the graveyard shift at a mine, checking pond equipment on nightly rounds. After locking a building and walking toward the truck, he reportedly saw a huge bipedal creature he insisted was not a bear. Frightened and crying, he ran back inside and called relatives by phone to come help and stay on the line to keep him calm.
