The witness was walking along a creek-side sandy path looking for animal tracks and entered a small meadow. Feeling as if watched, the witness turned and saw a large brown bipedal creature squatted on the path. The creature stood, moved quickly and silently up a brushy embankment and disappeared. The witness then found a single dark stool on the path where the creature had been.

Three backpackers waited out a storm below tree line, then continued hiking out toward the trailhead near sunset. As they crossed a logged clearing they heard thrashing and a howl, then saw a massive dark biped run through brush about 60 yards away into the forest. The animal was described as hairy with a paler face and was watching the road and making eye contact. The driver continued past, turned around a short distance later, and returned to find the animal gone, while a third occupant of the vehicle had not seen it.

The shape stood up and fled on two legs with long strides, remaining still briefly when first illuminated. After hearing a distant screeching sound and then a loud scream, they saw a short, heavy creature about 50 yards away that charged toward them. They ran back to a clearing where the pursuit stopped, then put out their campfire and left for the night.

The witness was horseback riding with friends and stopped for lunch when crashing was heard in the brush. The witness rode toward the noise to look for elk and watched a small hair-covered creature trying to drink from a pool about 30 feet away. The horse became agitated so the witness left to tell friends, who returned and heard movement and saw ferns moving as something left toward the larger creek. The witness believed the crashing was made by a larger animal accompanying the young creature.

The witness was walking uphill near Hunter Creek and climbing over a large fallen tree when they saw an entity stooped behind another fallen trunk about 30 feet away watching them. After a few seconds of staring, the entity turned and disappeared behind the tree. The witness then found several prints in the forest debris and followed them uphill briefly before losing them.

The witness and a companion were driving at night when they saw an upright figure standing in a field beside the highway. They stopped and watched it from the road for about 10 minutes while illuminating it with a spotlight. The figure shielded its eyes, then walked slowly back toward the treeline, glancing back periodically.
