The witness drew his service pistol and shouted, after which the creature walked away, and he left the area without telling anyone at the time.

In the morning the pair found a snapped tree, strong odor, widely spaced ground marks and a five-toed partial print, which the witness attributed to a large visitor.

About seven years ago a group camping near a secluded lake sat around a campfire late at night. A small bipedal figure about four feet tall emerged from the woods, ran toward the lake in moonlight, circled while waving its arms and vocalizing, then ran back into the woods.
