A fallen tree previously seen across the lake had been moved to the beach, and similar loud vocalizations were heard on later nights.

Both occupants reported seeing it and they left quickly because they were frightened. The witness also thought a grunting sound was heard but was unsure whether it came from the vehicle.

Early one sunny morning, the witness looked out a bathroom window and saw a jet-black, ape-like figure running bipedally along the backyard fence. The figure ran silently and fluidly over uneven leaf-covered ground with its arms held like a human runner, then disappeared into the woods. About a minute later the witness heard repeated rock-knocking sounds from the woods. A later inspection of the area found no footprints.
