Two people stopped on a remote logging road at dusk to check their truck bed before meeting friends at a campsite. After getting back in with headlights on, they saw a large hair-covered figure standing in the road about 15-20 feet ahead. Before they could react, it jumped from a standstill up and over a roughly six-foot road bank and disappeared silently.

The witness later estimated its height at over nine feet by measuring a similar tree from memory.

The witness and his father were driving back toward their campsite in the national forest in the morning when they saw a large upright figure on and crossing the dirt road. The figure briefly stopped, looked toward them, then stepped off the road and walked downhill into the woods, at one point completely blocking a roadside sign from view. They drove to the spot where it left the road and found the brush undisturbed and no tracks.

He first thought they were people fishing, then bears, but concluded they were two Bigfoot-like animals, with the larger one bent over and the smaller one watching him. He continued driving without stopping because he was late.
