While they watched, a rock was thrown onto the carport by something else nearby, and when the husband started toward the figure it vanished in a sudden flash of movement.

Four people driving two jeeps on the inner perimeter road of Hopkins Prairie stopped when a large creature appeared about 100 to 150 yards away at the edge of a campground. They watched it walk around a small area with long arms swaying at its sides before it turned and walked into the campground and disappeared. They then went to the spot and found a footprint in wet ground and flattened grass with a stride too wide for a relative to match.

The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.

The witness reported hearing noises around the home weekly for months and then seeing a white, roughly 8.5- to 9-foot-tall creature about 40-50 feet away across the street near the forest at about 530am in the dark while using a strong flashlight. On September 11, 2016, the witness went to feed trout kept in a barrel at a spring on a family farm and found two fresh tracks in soft mud where cattle had been drinking. An investigator later visited the site, documented the stick fence around the spring and the cast dimensions, and noted additional sounds reported at the location.

The figure was seen in profile and jumped off into the ditch and into the woods. A relative visited the described site about 45 minutes later and reported a landing mark in a snow bank, tracks along a deer trail, and a deer carcass missing its front legs.

The witness was outside a ranch house at night while taking a dog out. He noticed a large figure standing just beyond the tree line about 100 feet away and watched it for one to two minutes. The figure then moved quickly along the tree line and disappeared into the forest. The witness went back inside, and the next day found wind-distorted imprints in the snow in the area.
