Trucker on Route 7 spots a sasquatch on railroad tracks 10 miles north of Steubenville
The witness, a truck driver hauling oil, was driving north over a bridge in daylight when he looked down at railroad tracks and saw a large hair-covered figure standing in the middle of the tracks looking uphill. The sighting lasted about 1.5 seconds as he passed at 55 mph, and he tried unsuccessfully to get another driver on the CB to confirm it. He later compared its height to oil railcars and estimated it at no less than 9 feet tall.
Daytime sighting in Tipp City while fishing the Great Miami River
The witness was fly fishing with five friends in the evening when the group heard a snap from across the river. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The group later returned and reported finding tracks, broken trees and unusual intertwined structures.
Sighting of two animals walking a ridge line in Salt Fork State Park
The witness, a vendor at a weekend event in a state park, went out early the next morning to check the spot where a fisherman claimed an encounter. While walking a trail at sunrise, the witness heard talking-like sounds from a ridge and then saw two large black hairy figures. The figures walked quickly away along the ridge and into brush despite attempts to follow, and the witness took a cell-phone photo of one looking back.
Man has an early morning sighting near Pleasant City
Early one summer morning the witness looked out a home window before work and noticed a very large black figure moving through crab-apple trees and brush behind the house. A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. The larger figure stopped in thick brush and stared toward the witness at the window for less than a minute before looking toward the dog kennel and walking uphill out of sight. Fruit the witness had discarded in the yard the night before was gone the next day.
