Geologist sees creature and becomes a bigfoot believer
The witness was driving north on Highway 6 in central Manitoba on a clear late morning. About 200 meters ahead, a black bipedal animal ran across the road from east to west into thick bush in only a few strides, swinging its arms. The witness noted a dead deer on the road not far from where the animal crossed.
Early spring sighting north of Winnipeg
The witness was driving a manure truck on an icy dead-end road when he saw a large upright man-like creature standing in a snow-covered field about 100 yards away. He watched it for about 20 seconds while driving past; it remained upright the whole time and turned its body to follow the truck. He described it as big with large shoulders, long arms, uniformly dark coloration, and a human-like head without a snout, and said it was neither a bear nor a man.
School teacher sees "thing" at school yard fence in early morning
A teacher was awakened around 1-2 a.m. by barking dogs at a school campus and looked outside from her doorway. About 25 yards away under a pole light she saw a very large dark figure outside the fence holding the top barbed wire with its head level with the wire. The motionless figure made a repeated cough-like sound and was gone when police arrived with spotlights. Pupils later reported finding large barefoot prints in patchy snow where it had stood.
