While riding an ATV on the family's timbered farm in daylight, a relative came around a corner and saw a tall dark hairy figure pulling leaves from a tree and eating them. The relative took a cell phone photo, then turned the vehicle around and left quickly with a companion. Minutes later the group heard four loud howls from the general area and left immediately.

After the witness coughed, the creature threw large rocks toward the witness, then crossed the river silently and confronted the witness at close range. The witness fled along a trail while hearing a loud howl and screaming and seeing additional shadowy figures across the river.
