Three relatives on a bow-hunting trip were sitting around a campfire at night when they heard whoops, howls, growls and footsteps and saw vegetation shake. After retreating to their camper and later going back outside, the companions pointed out movement by a white oak. The narrator then saw a massive standing creature with its arm against the tree, estimated the next morning at about 7 feet 5 inches.

On a November afternoon hunt, the witness heard loud yelling mixed with growls and screams nearby and recorded trees breaking and heavy pounding footsteps approaching. Deer in the area fled as the sounds got closer, and the witness left quickly. Cattle in a nearby pasture were later seen huddled far from the sounds.

When the witness went to get water he saw a large hairy head staring in through the kitchen window for about 30 seconds. He retreated to load a rifle while both heard a loud howling from the yard, but the figure was gone when he went outside with lights on.
