Boy witnesses Large, brown creature with yellow teeth eating grapes.
The witness, then age 13, rode a bike up the road to get a newspaper with a dog alongside and noticed a strong onion-like odor. In a hollow beside the road the witness saw a very large, light-brown hair-covered creature eating wild grapes that looked at the witness and moved toward them. The frightened witness fled home on the bike as the dog also ran home, then looked back to see the creature climb over a fence and go back into the forest.

The witness was collecting firewood on a relative's land in southern Maine in the summer of 1985. After hearing an unspecified noise behind them twice, the witness turned and saw an entity standing about 30 feet away watching them. The witness then left the area quickly.
