Nurse Sees Sasquatch Run Across Hwy on All Fours
The witness was driving northbound on a four-lane highway through forested land in the early evening. A long, skinny, dark-haired creature came from the left at full running speed and crossed all four lanes in front of her on all fours with an arched back and tucked head. She slowed and watched it continue without looking and disappear into heavy forest. She first wondered if it was an April Fools costume, but after checking native animals and other reports she concluded it was something else.

On the evening of Feb. 16, 2009, the reporter's brother called to say he had seen an unknown figure in his yard near his chicken house. The figure was in profile and angled so it could watch the house and driveway, appeared aware of being seen, and was gone when the brother stepped onto his screened porch after yelling. The witness and a companion were driving to work in the early morning when they noticed a figure crossing the road ahead. The witness initially described it as a man, but both became frightened as they got closer, with the companion calling it Bigfoot. The witness was deer hunting in a thick pine area bordering a swamp in northeastern Pennsylvania in 1993 when he noticed a strong rotten smell. He then watched what he first thought was a large bear walking upright for about 200 yards and viewed it through his rifle scope, concluding it was not a bear. He described it as man-like, about 5'10", wide and stocky with a slight limp, and said he was frightened and ran away once it was out of sight.

The animal then stood bipedally, looked at them, and left by jumping over a barbed-wire fence at the edge of a thicket, after which the pair ran back to the farmhouse.

After dogs in a hollow below barked then fell suddenly silent, the group heard movement in brush and saw a tall fur-covered figure stand at the hill edge making huffing sounds. When the driver turned on the car headlights the figure covered its face and moved behind trees as the group fled in the car.
