Late night road crossing sighting by hunters near the eastern boundary of Mt. Hood National Forest
On the morning of October 5 2009 the witness and a companion were driving toward a hunting area when two black upright figures about seven feet tall ran across the road and into dense brush. The witness drove closer and then got out to listen but heard nothing and the figures were gone. The party left the woods that night and returned days later with a relative to find odor, snapped small trees, a possible print, and scat.
Sighting by elk hunters near White River drainage
The witness was elk hunting on an open hillside and watching a relative traversing the slope at a distance. He saw a hairy bipedal creature walking quickly away, using the relative's size for comparison. He described it as about five and a half to six feet tall with a barrel chest and long arms, moving with long strides in a stooped, bent-knee manner.
Repeated encounters by Native American family
The witness woke in the early morning hours to her young daughter giggling in the dining room. Through an uncovered sliding glass door she saw a small bigfoot on the lit back porch jumping up and down in apparent play with the child. When it noticed the witness it left, and a larger bigfoot assumed to be its mother walked past the window. The frightened witness grabbed her child and retreated down the hallway.
