Ulster County, 1985 Winter Hike Leads to Encounter with Large Bipedal Creature

In winter 1985, the witness and a companion were walking in deep snow near a closed attraction when they saw a large brown human-looking biped about 150 feet away. The creature paused to look at them, then walked away quickly with a long stride while glancing back. The witnesses were frightened, tried briefly to follow and look for footprints, but found none.
