Lady sees large hairy creature on the side of the road

Late at night in late June, the witness was driving home alone on a dirt shortcut road near a creek. Headlights revealed a very tall, hairy humanlike figure standing by the road with its back turned. Frightened, the witness swerved around it without stopping and did not look back, later avoiding the road at night.
