The witness and a companion who had left a training area early saw three large silhouetted figures across a moonlit meadow near a tree line. When approached, the figures moved toward them silently without answering, frightening both witnesses. They fled and hid under a low pine tree for about fifteen minutes, noticing a strong odor and sensing a nearby presence, before running to catch a bus.
