The witness and his wife were driving at night when their headlights caught a hair-covered humanlike figure standing on the left side of the road about 25-30 feet away. It faced them briefly, then ran bipedally a few steps and scrambled on all fours up an embankment behind it. When they looked back after passing, it was gone.

The witness was riding a small motorcycle to a lake in old strip mines in the late afternoon. She saw a hairy figure squatting at the water's edge appearing to sift or dig with its hands. The figure turned and moved very quickly toward her, prompting her to flee; when she looked back it was gone. A relative later checked the spot and found no sign anyone had been staying there.

The witness was fishing alone at night in the pond behind her house when she heard a huff-growl behind her and turned to see a figure standing and watching her. When the figure moved, she became frightened, dropped her fishing pole, and ran up the hill to the house. She states she never fished at night or alone again.

Three people were camping on a ridge during deer season when they heard heavy footsteps circling and piercing screams. After a tree was heard falling, something very large rushed past the camp breaking saplings, and a snapped tree was later found. A large shadowy outline then watched the camp from beyond the firelight for the rest of the night.

When about 11 years old, the witness was picking rocks in a ditch at dusk with a dog when a tall, hunched, naked entity covered in gray-white matted hair appeared a few feet away staring. The witness screamed, the dog fled toward the house, and the entity screamed back in a loud high-pitched voice before sprinting away up the ditch. The witness ran home and reported a shaggy old man to a parent but was not believed.

The witness saw two fur-covered bipedal creatures run across the path, jump a stream, and disappear. The pair fled to a road, got a ride back, and reported the sighting to a Scoutmaster who did not believe them.

Two young family members went to the barn after dark to check animals and one touched fur in the dark and then saw a tall furry biped with red eyes. The creature followed as they left the barn without harming them. An older relative then confronted it with a shotgun, fired in the air, and it ran into the woods making a noise.

A family camping at Sunrise Beach heard branch-breaking sounds overnight and the next morning found a very large footprint in a dried creek bed. Shortly after, they saw a large brownish hair-covered creature watching them from behind a tree on a hillside, which then walked away toward the campground road. The father also reported seeing it cross the road ahead while lifting a wire out of its way, and the family quickly left the area.
