Nighttime sighting (in headlights) by law enforcement officer on patrol near Cloverdale
The witness, on patrol driving west on Highway 128 outside Cloverdale, first noticed movement and eye reflection in brush along a ravine. After backing up, the witness observed a tall, brown-furred bipedal figure walking away through overgrowth, pushing branches aside with its arm. The witness then stopped and listened for several minutes as slow crunching sounds receded toward a creek area.
Man sees creature crossing road near Petaluma
The witness was traveling by car at night with a companion when a large bipedal figure appeared in the middle of the road. The figure reportedly paused to look at the witness's car and an oncoming car, then ran across the road. It cleared a five-foot barbed-wire fence without using its arms and ran uphill out of sight.
A Young Man, While Camping with 20 Others, Comes Face-to-face with Creature
At a youth camp at night, the witness was inside a dorm getting ready for bed when campers in another dorm shouted about someone outside. Minutes later the witness watched a figure near a dumpster walk toward the dorm and peer in through a window from about 12 feet away for 20 to 30 seconds before disappearing. The next morning a discarded box was found on the ground with large footprints nearby.
