Father and son encounter an ape-like creature near a stream
The witness and the witness's young son walked downstream toward a stream to fish, with their dog ahead. They encountered a large hairy figure crouched over an animal carcass about 30-35 yards away, noticed a foul odor, and watched it stand upright. The figure screamed several times as they retreated to the car and was still standing near the water when last seen from a ridge.

Two companions were shooting at targets in a logged area and started walking back toward a house at dusk. They heard distant howls that grew closer, then screams and crashing as something rushed toward them. One looked back while crossing a fence and saw a large hairy stocky creature chasing them, then they reached the house where it threw objects and damaged trash cans, fencing and a window, with a strong odor noted.

Two relatives living on a farm reported a strong odor in their dairy barn followed by footprints in the barn lot leading toward dense forest. A few days later additional tracks were found near a creek and plaster casts were made. At the time the residents said they had never heard of Bigfoot and interpreted the activity as contact with some kind of giant.
