On May 12 around 4pm, the witness was hiking back to base camp with two relatives when he saw a large upright hair-covered figure dart between trees on a steep slope about 30 yards away. He watched it cover 10-15 yards uphill in seconds without bobbing before it disappeared behind trees. His companions did not see the figure, and the party returned to camp without further incident before leaving the area that evening.

After hearing thumping, the witness saw a tall hairy figure on a hill partially concealed by brush and a boulder looking down. The witness and a companion were fishing from rocks in a river near cabins in the afternoon when they noticed a large upright creature standing in heavy brush on the far bank about 15 feet away watching them. The creature briefly rubbed its face with a hand before both individuals fled to the cabin to alert their guide, but it was gone when the guide returned with a rifle.

The witness was walking north along a highway in daylight when he noticed a tall, hairy figure standing in brush across the road. They looked at each other for less than a minute and the witness did not feel threatened. When he glanced toward a relative's driveway and looked back, the figure was gone.
Hunter/Logger has a sighting in a closed logging area near Hilt
The witness returned to a secluded previously logged area to hunt with a dog. About 100 yards away, a dark brown hair-covered figure was seen crouching behind brush and staring at the witness and dog. The dog froze with raised fur and refused to advance. After a brief look through a rifle scope noting human-like eyes and black facial skin, the witness smelled strong body odor and quickly left the area.
