Two people were walking through the woods when they came to a clearing. They saw a sasquatch-like figure walking across the far side of the clearing that did not look toward them. The witnesses quickly fled the scene.

The witness was driving home from work at night in heavy ground fog when a creature stepped onto the road ahead and walked across to a partly cleared lot. The witness watched it disappear into fog and darkness, then after calming down drove home, ran inside, and locked up. The witness described the encounter as terrifying and reported sleeplessness for weeks afterward.
