Hunter observes 6' tall hairy figure near a creek

While deer hunting alone in a swampy lease, the witness noticed movement in a brush pile and whistled. A large dark figure moved away toward a creek, crossed without an audible splash, and was seen again briefly about 100 feet away on the far bank. The figure walked on two legs and then moved silently out of sight, leaving no footprints on damp leaves. The witness found a large decayed log apparently moved at the first location and then returned to the truck.
