Sighting of a bigfoot by a miner
The witness was mining on a creek when movement caught attention. On standing, the witness saw a creature described as a Bigfoot peering from behind a tree about 60-75 yards away. The creature looked upstream toward the witness's companion, then leapt over rocks while staying low and disappeared. The witness slipped on mossy rocks while backing away, injuring an arm, then hurried up the trail.

Two witnesses driving at night saw a large fur-covered animal cross the highway in front of their car and climb a steep bank into the forest. They returned in daylight and found large deep footprints in snow, which they photographed and displayed with a written account. The writer later examined the photos and spoke with the witnesses and found them convincing.
Night time sighting by motorist in Feather River Canyon near Hwy 70 & 89 intersection
Late at night the witness and a companion were driving north on Highway 70 when headlights revealed a large animal on all fours standing in the travel lane. The witness swerved into the other lane to avoid hitting it during a few seconds of viewing. The animal was described as horse-sized with dark medium-length fur, long legs, and a flat human-like face without a snout, lowering its head to peer into the passenger window as they passed.
