Two women on an evening hike heard a loud branch break and saw a large bipedal figure running parallel to them through the forest and down a hill. They watched it for several seconds as it moved very fast with long strides and a forward lean, making no running noise despite dry ground cover. Both described it as tall, bulky and covered in dark grey to black hair, concluding it matched a bigfoot and was not a human or common animal.

A couple driving slowly at night in snow claim a very tall, dark, massive figure crossed the highway in front of their truck and nearby cars while illuminated by headlights. The witness pulled off a highway west of Cody in late afternoon to hike north through timber and rocky outcrops. Over about an hour the witness heard rocks rolling, brush breaking and movement that seemed to follow and stop with them. While returning toward the road the witness turned to see an upright, brown, long-haired animal about 60-70 yards away that immediately leapt into dense timber. The witness was uncertain whether the sounds and sighting involved the same animal and noted a bear as a possible alternative, only later considering Bigfoot after finding a website.

The witness and a companion were driving east on a highway in Montana in the early morning. They saw a large reddish-brown hair-covered biped walking along a fenceline about 100 to 150 yards away. The animal took long strides and did not appear to notice the vehicle. They kept driving and watched it for only a few seconds without stopping.

The figure glanced at the vehicle, then crossed the highway in a few long strides, grasped the guardrail, and descended into a culvert out of sight. The witnesses stopped briefly then drove on to the park entrance, waiting until morning to compare independent written accounts.

The witness and a companion were hiking in the Lost Creek wilderness on a sunny Sunday morning when they watched a creature near a pond from 100-150 feet for about 45 seconds.
