Morning sighting by a woodcutter NW of Conconully
The witness was driving on a mountain road toward a firewood cutting spot when the dog alerted to the left. The witness stopped and saw a tall dark figure look at him while walking behind a large slash pile about 75 yards away near the tree line. The figure did not reappear from the other side, and when the witness drove forward it was gone, apparently having gone into the woods. The witness did not get out to look for tracks.

Dusk sighting by a couple near a spring outside Omak
Two people driving while hunting at sunset saw a large hairy man-like figure running along the road about 30 to 40 yards away. The sighting lasted only a few seconds before the figure disappeared toward a ridge. The driver stopped, got out to search, heard no sound of flight and found no tracks on the hard sandy road.
