Motorist sees a roadside creature run uphill into the forest near the Sandy River
A driver rounding an uphill hairpin turn noticed a tall hairy human-like figure standing behind trees on the hillside above the road. The figure turned and ran uphill through steep brush with remarkable speed and disappeared within seconds. The driver called a relative, returned to the site, spoke with officers there, and later documented the area on video.

Two motorists driving westbound on the freeway at night reported a very tall, thin, hair-covered biped crossing in front of their car toward the river. They narrowly missed striking it and lost sight of it at the guardrail. They then called a relative by cell phone to report what had happened.

The witness was serving as a conductor on a westbound freight train at daybreak near milepost 36. As the train rounded a curve, the crew noticed a dark, hairy figure sitting between the rails. After the whistle was blown, the figure stood up and ran on two legs into nearby trees and brush with its long arms swinging, and could not be relocated.

Late at night a group gathered above the football field during foggy full-moon conditions. The group noticed a large shadowy bipedal form at a distance that appeared and disappeared in moving fog. Some members started toward it before it vanished in the fog, and the witness reported feeling unable to advance beyond a point. An odor was noted in connection with the sighting.
