Early morning sighting by truck driver on I-68. Local police make report
A truck driver hauling steel west on a highway slowed and used high beams to check what was thought to be a hitchhiker on the opposite side. On approaching, the driver reported seeing a tall white-haired ape-like creature. Afterward the driver asked over CB radio about an escaped zoo or circus ape, and police took a statement and filed a report.

Family has evening sighting in Mayslick
The witness was watching television at home at night when a loud disturbance on the porch drew attention. Looking outside, the witness reported seeing a large white hairy creature holding a rooster, which it threw against the house before moving behind the house. The witness pursued it with a pistol and fired twice as it ran out of sight up a gravel road.
