Horse trainer has sighting
The witness was working horses near the barn on an overcast afternoon when the mares looked toward the woods. The witness saw an upright light-grey figure at the tree line, first thought to be a teenager in a heavy coat, but noted long hair-like covering and non-human swaying. The figure disappeared within 10 to 15 seconds without being seen walking away.
Evening sighting by family driving by Guntersville Lake
The witness was driving with his family at night along a lakeside road when he reported seeing a large dark-haired creature walking away from the shore into the water. He said the creature was visible from the knees up and was carrying a severed dog head by the hair in its left hand, with flesh hanging from the neck. His wife, who looked back, reported seeing only ripples in the water.

The witness was walking to a rural residence for a delivery when birds, horses, and deer fled from a nearby tree cluster. The witness then heard a loud deep growl rising into a scream from the trees and saw a very tall, wide, dark furry figure partly hidden in shadows moving along the tree line. Frightened, the witness ran to the truck and left. The next day the resident said strange sounds had occurred lately and warned against entering the woods alone.
