Daylight sighting by a hunter on her hunting property near Pembine
A hunter encountered a large fur-covered creature crouched on all fours examining tracks in light snow at the edge of a cedar swamp. The creature stood and looked at her from about 20 yards away, frightening her, and she fled to her stand and called a family member. The family member arrived later and found tracks, broken branches and a bad smell, with a feeling of being watched.
Daytime road crossing seen by a retired police officer near Pembine
The witness was traveling south on a county road after leaving a cabin when a brown, broad-shouldered figure crossed the road slowly from east to west. Only the upper body was visible, showing a pointed head and human-like arm swing. The witness sped up and then stopped to look, but the figure had disappeared into open scrub and could not be relocated.
Motorist has dusk sighting on Hwy. 41 outside Peshtigo
The witness was driving home south of Peshtigo at dusk when headlights caught a large dark creature crossing the highway in front of the car. The witness slowed and watched it cross the southbound lanes, median, and northbound lanes into the woods over several seconds. The witness also noticed a strong skunk-like odor, then secured the car and left the area.

The witness and his father were walking to their deer stands before sunrise when they heard something moving parallel to them and smelled a musky odor. Something ahead screamed and howled, and a flashlight revealed eye reflections several feet off the ground. They retreated to the stream and at daylight saw dark fur moving through deadfalls in the distance.

The witness and two family members were heading out grouse hunting in the early morning when a dark, very large form crossed the road ahead of them where there were no houses or side roads. The figure walked upright with a leaning gait and long swinging arms and was watched for about five seconds. At the time the father doubted the identification, but decades later he agreed with the younger witnesses that it had been a Bigfoot.
Man recalls observing creature in a field near Marinette
The witness and two relatives were driving back roads at night to look for deer and stopped at an intersection. About 10 yards away on the right, the witness saw a brown shaggy animal initially squatting that then stood to over 8 feet and looked toward the car. The witness rolled up the window and the group drove on, later realizing all three had seen it. The sighting lasted at least a minute and the animal may have been eating something beforehand.
