Man on his way to work sees sasquatch crossing road in his headlights
The primary witness was driving to work in the early morning when headlights revealed an upright, hair-covered figure ahead. The figure crossed the paved road in a few brisk strides without running, glancing toward the vehicle before continuing through a ditch into the woods. The witness estimated its height by comparison to a roadside sign.

The witness was looking after his girlfriend and her younger brother when the locked front door knob was jiggled. After leaving to call police from his parents’ house, he stepped outside with a flashlight and saw a tall off-white muscular human-shaped figure standing in the weedy field in moonlight. The figure vanished when he raised the light again, and he later found the weeds mashed down where it stood.

In the early afternoon the witness was gigging for frogs from a relative's boathouse pier when a tall, dark, hairy biped emerged from a swamp about 175-250 yards away and waded knee-deep into the water. The creature looked both ways, bent over twice to swing an arm into the water with a splash as if fishing, then stared toward the witness before walking back into the swamp like a person. A few minutes later it reappeared at the same spot and repeated the same actions before leaving again and not returning during another hour the witness remained.
