Two people driving south through a state forest in late morning watched two dark bipedal figures run across the road from west to east. The driver reported seeing both figures cross while the passenger saw the second one as it entered the woods. They stopped, got out, and found large impressions spaced far apart in dry grass but no further visual. An investigator later visited the site and documented road widths and photos.

They saw an upright figure down a trail, watched it kneel in palmettos staring at them for many minutes, then saw it stand and cross the trail followed by a smaller similar figure into dense brush.
