Fisherman comes face to face with tall ape-like creature in Ft. Myers

Late at night the witness was fishing from a pier in his backyard when he heard noises from a nearby canal. He approached and came face to face at about 15 feet with a large hairy ape-like figure standing behind a palm tree. The figure moved agitatedly and made grunting noises, then retreated toward nearby railroad tracks as the witness went inside.
