The witness was fishing along Spring River in the evening and moved downstream around oak trees. He claims to have watched a single large, reddish-brown, hair-covered figure walk from the stream across an open field into the woods for several minutes. He did not follow it because he was alone, and a return visit the next day found no definitive footprints.

Two sisters witness bipedal animal walk through yard
When the witness was about 6 or 7 years old, she and her younger sister were playing inside their home and saw an upright hair-covered creature cross the yard in good light at dusk. The creature was about 100 feet away, looked toward them, and continued toward the woods and road area. Their mother did not reach the window in time to see it.
