The witness was driving home from a fishing trip near midnight when he saw a tall bipedal creature near the roadside by a street light and woods. The creature came out of the woods toward the road, then turned away and went back into the woods. The driver braked and woke his passengers, but only he saw it and no one got out to look further.

The witness became stranded alone when a car sank in soft sand on a remote forest road. While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

From beside the truck she watched a furry reddish figure stand upright, tip its head back as if sniffing, stare at her, then bend to pick up a small object and run bipedally across a meadow toward the treeline. They approached the sound and saw a tall muscular figure that looked at them briefly before running away. Both witnesses were later interviewed separately and estimated the figure at 7 to 8 feet tall.

On the road they saw a huge black hair-covered figure about forty to fifty feet away that at first looked like a man. After exchanging looks, the figure sprinted away on two feet across the road into the woods, moving much faster than a human.

He saw a tall, hairy biped about 50 yards away at the forest edge staring at him for several seconds, tilting its head before turning and running fast into the pines out of sight. The witness was camping and was awake in a sleeping bag in the early morning when extremely loud, bellowing two-part vocalizations were heard. One or possibly two warbling or yodeling replies followed from the same direction. A few minutes later two bursts of rifle fire were heard from that direction, and a subsequent search with spotlights up to 2 km north and south found nothing.

Two companions driving on a dirt road toward their house at night stopped when a large creature stood in the road a short distance ahead. With headlights and then high beams on, they watched it for a couple of minutes as it stood and moved its head from side to side. They then drove past it and rushed into the house to tell the occupants and check everyone was alright.

The crew was camped on the bank of Blackwater Creek eating dinner when a splash revealed their cooler in the creek was missing. Shortly after, a companion returned shaken saying something had watched him from across the creek. The witness shone a spotlight across the narrow creek and the group saw a large hair-covered biped stand up, its eyes shining, block the light with its forearm, vocalize, and flee. The men then left for a motel for the remainder of the job.

Late at night while driving home from a night shift, the witness saw a very tall, hairy, dark creature cross the county road in front of her car and disappear into vegetation. She observed it in her headlights from about 50 yards as it moved upright on two legs with swinging arms. After passing the spot she noticed a strong foul odor like road-kill in the air.

Two companions hunting grouse in a remote swampy forest heard repeated loud howls and sensed a large animal moving nearby. They left their birds behind and headed toward the exit trail while the animal paralleled them through dense brush, stopping when they stopped. In a backlit clearing they observed the full outline of a tall, dark, hair-covered biped that crossed difficult terrain with remarkable speed. The animal ceased following as they reached a more traveled ridge trail.

The witness drove to a seldom-crowded park with falls midday and sat on a picnic table. After about a minute, the witness turned and saw a furry figure about six feet away, visible from the waist up above a drop-off. Frozen in fear, the witness could not warn a passing group, then ran to the nearby car and has not returned to the park.

The witness and at least one other person parked on a dirt road near a stream at night. They heard sloshing in the water and later saw a large figure run across the road ahead of the headlights and heard heavy steps in sagebrush. Using a spotlight they glimpsed a tall dark primate-like figure cross in front of a large boulder and enter dense timber.

The witness was driving with her husband on a mountain road in the afternoon while camping. They saw a large black bipedal animal walking through a clearing toward the mountainside. It had very long arms and took huge unhurried strides before disappearing into dense pines within a few seconds. Despite having a camcorder beside them, they did not film it.
