Two girls have a daytime close encounter on their family farm near Oak Grove
Two girls encountered a tall dark figure at close range in a marshy wooded area near a fence. The figure left quickly while splashing through water, as a nearby cat reacted with alarm and neighboring dogs barked and fled. The witnesses then heard loud imitative barking and cow-like sounds from different directions, followed by faint responses to their own knocks. They went inside and later recounted the events to family and an investigator.
Law enforcement officers' face-to-face encounter outside Dover
The witness was driving slowly on a rural gravel road late at night when headlights illuminated a large dark figure in the road with glowing eyes. The figure moved to the side of the road on all fours, then stood upright beside the road as the witness passed within about fifteen feet. The witness described a very tall, heavily muscled, hair-covered male figure and continued driving home, later telling relatives.
