Hiker has an afternoon sighting behind a mountain resort in Cle Elum
The witness was walking in woods behind a resort with a relative when she saw a hair-covered biped walking away through the trees toward a more forested area. She described it as auburn and shaggy with broad shoulders, long arms with hands near the knees, and an oval head with a peak. She watched in disbelief without following it and noted the woods were unusually quiet.

Two companions were driving westbound near Cle Elum after an unsuccessful turkey hunt while scanning for deer and elk. They watched a very tall, lean, hair-covered figure emerge from the forest edge, approach the shoulder, look toward the passenger, and step onto the pavement behind their truck before disappearing. Both described extremely human-like movement and camouflaged brown, beige and grey hair.
Daylight sighting by fisherman near Easton, Washington
Two people driving north on a forest road in daylight saw a large black figure walking on the shoulder toward them. They described it as bulky with huge limbs, moving with a swagger, and showing no discernible features. They stopped and backed up as it moved into the woods near the shoulder, moved branches, then returned to the shoulder and walked toward them again. They left the area, and a later return found no sign of it.
