Former Special Forces soldier has late night sighting through window not far from Colorado River
After midnight the witness and a relative were awakened by barking dogs and noticed a rank odor in the house. When the witness went to get water he saw a large hairy head staring in through the kitchen window for about 30 seconds. He retreated to load a rifle while both heard a loud howling from the yard, but the figure was gone when he went outside with lights on.
Creature seen walking across pasture in daylight north of Grand Island
The witness was in his pickup at the mailbox on a very cold, windy winter morning when he noticed movement in a pasture about a quarter-mile away. He watched for about 10 to 12 seconds as a large, dark-brown, long-haired, man-like figure with long arms took large steps south toward a shelterbelt, glanced toward him, then moved faster and disappeared into the trees. He did not go to look for tracks in the snow because he was afraid.
Large human-like footprints found on a path.
The witness family discovered their very heavy cable-spool picnic table missing from their yard. Along a path bordered by cornfield and forest they found places where the spool had been rolled and carried, along with very large human-like footprints. They later found the spool about a mile away where it had been tossed into a steep gully, and felt children were unlikely to have moved it over rugged terrain.
