Meteor watchers see large two-legged dark creature approach vehicle near Springfield
The witness and a companion drove to a hilltop late at night to watch a meteor shower. They heard repeated deep growls and saw the silhouette of a large man-like figure with a cone-shaped head and very wide shoulders walking silently up the road toward them. They fled by car, and a daytime revisit found no tracks.

Multiple witnesses encounter bad smell, three observe creature hiding behind sapling
After exploring an abandoned resort site on a bright moonlit night, three companions walking back toward their van smelled a strong musky, fecal odor. They then noticed a backlit figure about 20 feet away behind brush watching them while holding a small tree and swaying. After watching for a few minutes they fled to the van, and a return visit minutes later found no figure and no odor.
