Very close observation of a road crossing at night near Quinwood
While driving down a mountain road to work in the evening, the witness slowed for what looked like a bear. The animal stepped over a guardrail, looked at the stopped vehicle, then crossed the two-lane road in two steps and went up the mountain into the woods. The witness described it as very tall with dark matted hair and was shaken by the encounter.

Daylight sighting by a father and son of a Bigfoot crossing I-64 west of Lewisburg
While driving on I-64 at dusk, the witness saw a hair-covered figure run through heavy traffic and across the median without slowing. The figure paused to avoid a log truck, allowing a close view, then sprinted across the remaining lanes into the woods. The passenger also watched the figure run up the hill through the woods.
