Early evening road crossing sighting by motorist on Jekyll Island

On a clear July evening the witness was driving with a younger relative on a narrow dirt road when headlights illuminated a hair-covered creature stepping onto the road. The creature paused and looked toward the vehicle before crossing to the opposite side and entering the woods. The relative recalls being frightened that evening but recalls no further detail.
